In South Sudan, the fight against GBV is a pressing issue. One organization that has been actively involved in this fight is HelpEducation South Sudan. This organization has been working tirelessly in Awerial County, implementing various initiatives aimed at combating GBV.

HelpEducation South Sudan has been proactive in its approach to tackle GBV. The organization has been conducting awareness campaigns throughout Awerial County, educating the community about the detrimental effects of GBV and the importance of gender equality.

The efforts of HelpEducation South Sudan have had a significant impact in Awerial County. The awareness campaigns have led to a change in attitudes towards GBV, with more people now recognizing it as a serious issue. The support provided to survivors has helped them to recover and rebuild their lives.

Moreover, the advocacy work has resulted in stricter enforcement of laws against GBV. This has acted as a deterrent, leading to a decrease in GBV cases in the county.

While the work done by HelpEducation South Sudan has made a difference, there is still a long way to go. GBV remains a pervasive issue in South Sudan, and it requires the collective effort of everyone to eradicate it.

As we commemorate the 16 Days of Activism Against GBV, let us all pledge to do our part in the fight against GBV. Whether it’s by raising awareness, providing support to survivors, or advocating for stronger laws, every action counts.

Together, we can create a world free from violence against women and girls. A world where everyone is treated with respect and dignity. Let’s continue the fight against GBV, not just for these 16 days, but every day.
